#RockTheDull Contest Rules - The Stone Rocker

  • No Purchase Necessary: Entry is free—no purchase required to participate or win. A purchase does not increase your chances of winning.

  • Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the USA and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are 19 years of age or older at the time of entry. One entry per X account. Employees of The Stone Rocker, its affiliates, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children) are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.

  • Entry Period: The contest begins on March 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM PST and ends on April 4, 2025, at 11:59 PM PST (“Entry Period”). All entries must be received by the end of the Entry Period.

  • Entry Method:

    • Primary Entry: Post a photo of your dull blade on X with the hashtag #RockTheDull and tag @thestonerocker (1 entry).

    • Canadian Skill Question: Canadian residents (excluding Quebec) must also answer: “In 25 words or less, why does your dull blade need The Stone Rocker?” (submit via Gleam entry form, 1 entry). This step is optional for USA entrants.

    • Additional Entries: Follow @TheStoneRocker69 on YouTube (+2 entries). Visit thestonerocker.com/preorder (+2 entries).

    • Total Entries: Maximum 6 entries per person (1 for X post, 1 for skill question if applicable, 2 for YouTube follow, 2 for website visit).

  • Prize: One (1) Stone Rocker sharpening system and Set of 3 Sharpening Stones, so you are ready to Rock (ships April 2025, approximate retail value $420 USD). Prize is non-transferable; no cash or substitutions allowed except at the sponsor’s discretion. Winner is responsible for any applicable taxes. USA winner will receive a 1099 form if the prize value exceeds $600. Winner must claim the prize within 30 days of notification or forfeit it.

  • Winner Selection: Winner will be chosen based on the “dullest blade” (most creative or rusty, as judged by The Stone Rocker team). Canadian entrants will also be judged on their skill question response. Judging will occur on or about April 5, 2025. Winner will be announced on X and notified via X direct message. If the winner does not respond within 7 days, an alternate winner may be selected.

  • Odds of Winning: Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received.

  • Privacy: By entering, you consent to The Stone Rocker collecting and using your entry data (X username, photo, skill question answer, YouTube follow, website visit) for contest purposes only.   • Not Sponsored by X: This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by X, nor is it associated with X.

  • Governing Law: This contest is governed by the laws of Canada and the Province of Alberta, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Alberta, Canada.
